Drummer Buddy is an iOS beat maker. This Privacy Policy explains what information the app may process and how it is used.

Information We Process

• Beat and song data you create in the app.
• Microphone input when you choose to use microphone rhythm capture.
• Technical identifiers needed to provide credits, purchases, abuse prevention, and support.
• Purchase verification data provided by Apple when you buy credits.
• Prompts and beat data sent to backend services when you request AI-assisted beat generation or improvement.

How We Use Information

We use information to provide app features, verify purchases, maintain credit balances, prevent abuse, improve reliability, and respond to support requests.

Microphone

Microphone access is used only when you start microphone rhythm capture. The app processes microphone input to detect rhythm information and create an editable beat. Do not use microphone capture if you do not want the app to process nearby audio for that feature.

Backend Services

Drummer Buddy uses Firebase services for backend functionality, including App Check, server functions, and storage of credit-related records. AI-assisted features may send structured beat data and prompt content to backend services that call an AI provider.

Purchases

Credit purchases are handled through Apple's in-app purchase system. We may process purchase transaction data to verify the purchase and apply credits to your app installation.

Data Sharing

We do not sell personal information. We may share information with service providers only as needed to operate app features, verify purchases, prevent abuse, or comply with legal obligations.

Data Retention

We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, including purchase verification, credit accounting, security, support, and legal requirements.
